Job Duties Overview - What Youll Do:
- Bring in New Members/Retain Existing Members and Keep Them Engaged: Connect with new girls and adults to join while keeping current and past members involved.
- Grow Membership: Use your connections, attend community events, and spread the word to get more people involved.
- Support Volunteers: Build strong relationships with troop leaders, service unit leaders, and community partners to help them succeed.
- Improve Outreach Efforts: Review recruitment results to see whats working and make adjustments as needed.
- Connect with the Community: Partner with schools, community groups, and faith-based organizations to promote Girl Scouts.
- Other: Perform additional duties as assigned.
What You Bring:
- Associates degree (Bachelors preferred) in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in sales, lead generation, marketing, or customer service.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience or ability to learn CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Looker).
Requirements:
- Valid drivers license, proof of insurance.
- Willing and able to travel and work within the Councils regional area and DreamLab in Gonzales, LA.
- Overtime or evening, weekend work as needed.
- Membership in Girl Scouts (at hire).
Bonus Points:
- Current of former Girl Scout experience.
- Experience with nonprofits, volunteer management, or community outreach.
