Girl Scouts of Central Indiana serves 45 Indiana counties, nearly 16,000 Girl Scouts and over 10,000 adult volunteers. We are the proud facilitators of Girl Scout camp at five Indiana locations, conveners of thousands of Girl Scout programs with nearly 600 community partners and serve thousands more community members each year at our STEM Center of Excellence and Founders Lodge Event and Conference Center.
What You Will Do:
- The Cookie Cupboard Manager supports the goals of the Product Program Department, helping to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and thoroughness of the Cookie Program.
- Dates of Service – January 3, 2024 – April 18, 2025
- Hours - 25-30 hours weekly
- Monday – Friday January 3, 2025, through April 18, 2025
- Cookie Cupboard Office hours 10:00am-3:00pm
These hours are dependent on orders placed by volunteers in eBudde.
How You Will Lead:
- Inventory management (taking an opening and/or closing inventory).
- Pull and fill troop cupboard orders.
- Reporting to the cupboard auditor at the end of each working day.
- Attending Cupboard training.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Initial Order Delivery Sites – assisting in securing locations, volunteers, and build binders
- Distribution of Donations and Internal Product request – Fall Product and Cookie
- Other duties as assigned to support the goals and objectives of GSCI.
- Follow and Support GSCI policies and procedures.
- Foster a culture of diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

What We are Looking For:
- High school diploma (G.E.D) with additional education and/or training.
- Experience with a volunteer workforce or membership organization is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Experience and sensitivity in working with people from a variety of backgrounds.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrate and promote a climate of courtesy, respect and professionalism to coworkers, the volunteers served by this council, and others with whom the job puts her/him in contact.
- Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends when requested.
- Attendance is an essential job requirement defined as having regular, consistent, reliable, punctual, and predictable attendance.
- Must have reliable transportation, hold a valid drivers’ license, and meet GSCI driving record and automobile insurance requirements.
- Must hold membership in the Girl Scout organization and subscribe to the tenets of the Girl Scout Promise and Law.
- Must complete and pass a criminal background check.
