We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Seasonal Lifeguard, Camp Gallahue. As a lifeguard, you will be responsible for supervising and guarding all water activities, providing rescues as needed, and utilizing first aid and CPR skills. You will also assist instructional staff in program areas, ensure campers and staff follow safety procedures, and act as a reference in waterfront activities. Additionally, you will be involved in the management and care of the physical facilities and equipment in the waterfront program area.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have a current certification in lifeguard training or equivalent, and hold a current certification in first aid and CPR. Advanced certification may be required based on camp location and site of delivery of aquatic programs. You must also be 17 years old or older. A desire and ability to work with children outdoors in the water is essential, as is strong communication and interpersonal skills.
