We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to assist with the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities and grounds at Meadow Mountain Ranch. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work independently and collaboratively with others to ensure that our facilities are safe, well-maintained, and ready for use by our campers and staff.
About the Role
This is a seasonal position, typically lasting from May to August. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of skilled trade tasks, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, roofing, and general maintenance. You will also be expected to maintain property equipment and machinery, as well as assist with emergency support during on-site incidents.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Assist with Camp Facility Maintenance: Help to ensure that our camp facilities and grounds are well-maintained and safe for use.
- Perform Skilled Trade Tasks: Carry out a range of skilled trade tasks, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, roofing, and general maintenance.
- Maintain Property Equipment: Ensure that property and program equipment and machinery are safe, well-functioning, and in clean condition.
- Required Skills and Qualifications: Ability to maintain, assess, and operate site and program equipment, machinery, and power tools. Preferred skills in carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, roofing, and general maintenance.
