At GIRL SCOUTS OF GREATER ATLANTA INC, we are seeking a dedicated Health Care Supervisor to join our team for the summer season. As a key member of our camp staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of our campers and staff.
The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and generating documentation related to the daily health and wellbeing of our campers and staff. They will also provide support to other camp staff as needed with first aid and help make decisions in emergency situations.
We are looking for an individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, who is able to operate independently and make wise decisions in an emergency. A current healthcare certification including First Aid and CPR is essential, with EMT or WFR qualifications preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
- Screen incoming camper records and inquire of parents for any missing records prior to arrival
- Facilitate a pre-screening for lice and temperature at check-in on arrival day for sleepaway camp
- Collect medications at check-in and distribute as needed during their stay at camp using proper documentation
- Schedule appointments and transport campers and staff to professional medical care as necessary
- Administer health-related programs and staff trainings as requested
- Care for campers and staff housed in the Health Center due to illness/injury and provide timely first aid as needed
- Provide emotional support for campers and staff
- Observe campers and staff daily to support the overall health and wellness of the camp community
