Job Summary:
The Cleaning Specialist ensures the cleanliness and sanitation of camp facilities, including bathrooms, showers, sleeping areas, kitchens, and other common spaces, as well as maintaining camp buildings and grounds.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Cleaning & Upkeep:
- Clean various areas such as bathrooms, showers, hallways, and kitchens.
- Use approved cleaning products following the manufacturer's directions.
- Regularly restock supplies (soap, toilet paper, paper towels) and empty trash bins.
- Report maintenance issues or repairs to the Sr. Property Specialist.

Supply Management:
- Monitor the inventory of cleaning supplies and submit orders.
- Launder cleaning rags and mops.

Additional Duties:
- Follow tasks assigned by the Sr. Property Specialist or Property Manager.

Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid drivers license and the ability to drive council vehicles.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Ability to follow instructions and safely use cleaning products.
- Knowledge of cleaning best practices for various surfaces.
- Ability to interact positively with both youth and adults.
- Ability to work with people without regard to race, age, religion, sexual orientation, or social, ethnic, and economic background.
This position requires someone organized, responsible, and capable of working independently while maintaining a positive and inclusive environment.
