About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Ambassador. This role involves working in our retail shop, providing exceptional customer service, and promoting the Girl Scout mission.
You will be responsible for greeting customers, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner. Additionally, you will maintain accurate records, balance cash drawers, and process cash receipts within council policy guidelines.
Main Accountabilities:
- Provides excellent service to customers with information about Girl Scout merchandise and programming.
- Maintains accurate OpSuite POS and accounting records for daily/monthly reports.
- Balances cash drawers, processes cash receipts, and End-of-Day paperwork within GSNEO policy/procedural guidelines.
- Assists with inventory controls and physical inventory.
- Stocks shelves, counters, and/or tables with merchandise that are attractively displayed.
Working Arrangements:
This is a part-time role, working variable hours, typically up to 14 hours per week. The majority of scheduled shifts will be in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends. You may occasionally be required to work mornings or full days for coverage during staff vacations, illnesses, or special events.
