The Program Office supports the Movement by developing inclusive, innovative, and relevant national programs that fulfill the Girl Scout mission. The teams in this community are responsible for the full lifecycle management of national programs for both youth and adult members.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Associate Writer (Spanish / English) is responsible for writing, re-writing, and editing program materials and content for the Girl Scout experience for K–12—in print, online, multimedia, and other formats—in both Spanish and English. The Writer is comfortable writing in a variety of styles for a diverse population of girls (ranging from kindergarten to high school) or for adults, depending on the project.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Creates, researches, writes, and rewrites print and digital Girl Scout resources for multiple formats and in a variety of writing styles for girl and adult audiences.
- Understands the overall strategy and brand vision of Girl Scouts, including brand voice through a culturally relevant lens.
- Partners with cross-functional teams to drive volunteer satisfaction and achievement of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Degree or Equivalent Experience : Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Years of Experience : Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in corporate environment
REQUIREMENTS :
Bilingual - Fluent in Spanish is a MUST
SALARY RANGE : $60,900.00 - $80,000.00
