ABOUT GIRL SCOUTS OF UTAH (GSU) :
GSU’s mission is to build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. The Girl Scout leadership activities are organized around 3 keys of leadership : Discover, Connect, and Take Action, and are based on the Girl Scout Promise and Law.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HEAD COUNSELOR : - Trefoil Ranch (Provo), UT, and Cloud Rim (Park City), UT
- Work with fellow counselors under the direction of the Head Counselors to plan and provide quality Girl Scout program to a unit of campers.
- Supervise and evaluate camp counselors.
- Complete required documentation and paperwork.
- Manage health and safety conditions in the unit.
- Be responsible for camper care and supervision twenty-four hours a day (including nighttime).
- Assist with basic camp operation procedures.
- Understand and implement safety guidelines and standards as outlined by Girl Scouts of the USA, the American Camp Association, and any state and local codes.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Job duties may be subject to change pursuant to the activities of the camp, camp needs, and the organization as a whole.

Have the council required health forms and documentation completed by a physician to ensure the well-being of living and working in an outdoor camp setting that includes :
