As the Healthcare Director at Camp St. Albans, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our campers and staff.
About Our Camp
Camp St. Albans is a 414-acre woodland experience that offers a range of activities and programs for campers.
The camp features unique Viking Boats and resident gnomes, providing a fun and engaging environment for campers to explore their interests.
Campers can participate in arts and crafts, archery, swimming, and boating activities, as well as programs focused on outdoor survival skills, space discovery, and woodworking.
As the Healthcare Director, you will be responsible for maintaining the camp health house, administering medications and first aid care, reviewing health histories, and conducting health screenings as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining the camp health house.

- Facilitating transportation to outside healthcare facilities when required.
This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
You will also be involved in camp operations, including mealtime, games, and campfires.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have a state license or registration as a physician, physician's assistant, nurse practitioner, registered nurse, LVN, paramedic, or EMT.
Experience working with youth aged 6-17 is also essential.
Certification in First Aid/CPR and Youth Mental Health First Aid are highly desirable.
