What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Camp Counselor position at Girls in Gear?
We're looking for enthusiastic individuals of all biking abilities and gender identities to join us as paid Camp GiG counselors this summer in Richmond, VA. The position starts at $15/hour for a commitment of 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday. No prior coaching or biking experience is required - just bring your most joyful and dynamic self, and we'll provide everything else. All counselors receive training and are supported by staff throughout the camp. We supply lesson plans and coaching materials, so you'll be set for success!

Counselors can work anywhere from one week to the entire summer! Anyone ages 18 must undergo a background check to complete the application process. Certification in First Aid or CPR is highly desirable.
