Positions Available:
- Summer Camp Facilitators/Activity Specialists (STEM, Arts, Sports, Leadership) – Lead engaging activities and mentor campers. Share your expertise and inspire young minds. Bring enthusiasm, creativity, and fun to each day.
Responsibilities:
- Lead interactive and engaging activities.
- Inspire and mentor campers in a positive, inclusive environment.
- Supervise field trips, games, and hands-on projects.
- Create an unforgettable summer experience for all campers.
Training
- Ensure that all necessary childcare training (40 Clock Hours) is completed.
- Participate in pre-summer training and all staff meetings through the summer.
Center Operations
- Provide adequate and direct supervision of children at all times.
- Be familiar with childcare licensing policies and report problems to the Center Director.
- Maintain accurate documentation as required, i.e. attendance log.
- Maintain and ensure proper use of equipment, facilities, and supplies.
- Assist with driving for field trips.
- Assist with maintaining the center, including general upkeep.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with children or coursework/training in education, childcare, psychology, sociology, or social work.
- Completion of all 40 clock-hour childcare training requirements (preferred)
- Must have a valid FL Driver’s License.
- Must be able to pass a Level 2 background screening including local, FBI, and FDLE.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen.
Camp Dates: June 9th to July 25th with training to take place June 4th-6th.
