Responsible to: Director of Major Gifts
Location: National Office Headquarters, New York City
Status: Full-time, M-F, Hybrid/Remote Schedule

Departmental Role: The Campaign Manager will be responsible for the following:
Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Major Gifts, the Campaign Manager will be a key new
member of the Individual Giving team, focusing most of their time on the logistics, meeting and events planning, and donor management required to help guide the needs of a successful Campaign. This person will meet regularly with the President, CEO and Chief Development Officer, as well as manage a portfolio of campaign prospects and donors under $100K. The Campaign Manager will be included in Individual Giving team meetings and may participate in other related Individual Giving initiatives that involve campaign prospects and donors. The Individual Giving team includes major gifts, an annual fund, planned giving, fundraising events and other cultivation and retention efforts in order to secure unrestricted support for the strategic vision of the national office.

Responsibilities
Campaign Management (75%)
Project Management
- Maintains and updates the campaign table of gifts, donor strategy sheets, and moves
- management report.
- Prepares materials for regular bi-weekly donor review and assigns and supports portfolio
- managers’ next steps.
- Leads the development of our systems for spreadsheets and dashboards to support tracking
- and reporting.
- Plans and manages all aspects of in-person and virtual campaign engagement events including scheduling, overseeing donor research and communications, run of show and event planning.
- Drafts communications and assists in the execution of regular cultivation and stewardship
- strategies in order to strengthen the donor experience.
- Tracks and monitors donor inquiries, research, RSVPs and activities, making sure donor
- updates are complete in the CRM system.
- Runs reports, prepares donor briefings and develops mailings lists.
- Maintains a portfolio of campaign prospects under $100,000.
- Occasional travel for regional events.
- Additional responsibilities may arise to help the department achieve annual revenue goals.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Three or more years of work experience; preferably in a non-profit setting and/or a revenue generating operation
- Prior campaign experience a plus
- Self-starter with extraordinary organizational and project management skills
- Experience as a front line fundraiser or customer service representative
- Standard computer skills and knowledge of Salesforce or a similar CRM database preferred
- Ability to prioritize and manage projects independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to compose, edit, and
- proof correspondence
- A sense of discretion and comfort with handling board members and VIP donors
