Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Programming:
  • Facilitate daily lessons using Girls Inc.’s and grant required evidence-based

curricula.

  • Adapt programs to meet the unique needs of participants.
  • Conduct assessments to track and support girls' progress.
  • Engage and Inspire:
  • Serve as a role model, promoting the values of Girls Inc.
  • Maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment.
  • Build strong relationships with participants, families, and school staff.
  • Support Operations:
  • Assist in the creation and delivery of incentive opportunities for girls.
  • Track daily attendance, maintain accurate records, and submit on time.
  • Collaborate with Girls Inc. of Jacksonville leadership team to achieve

organizational goals.

  • Professional Development:
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
  • Engage in monthly coaching for continuous improvement.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; college coursework in education, child development, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience working with youth in an educational, recreational, or mentorship setting.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
  • Passionate about empowering and inspiring girls.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certifications are a plus.

ADVOCACY

· Understands her role as a representative of Girls Inc. and projects a positive image within the community.

· Promotes Girls Inc. of Jacksonville using personal contacts and relationships to help build brand awareness and the organization’s development efforts.

· Understands and can articulate the Girls Inc. national advocacy statements.

CULTURE

· Provides assistance and support in the creation of a healthy culture that is consistent with the values of the organization; fosters an atmosphere of teamwork; and maintains the perception that Girls Inc. is a desirable place to work.

· Promotes a professional working environment.

· Demonstrates commitment to the total organization by understanding the Organization's Mission, Strategic Goals, and Structure; establishes visibility and role as a resource to other program and Girls Inc. staff members.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
