What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Inspector position at GIS Field Services?
Mortgage Occupancy Field Inspector
We are seeking independent contractors to perform residential property inspections on behalf of mortgage lenders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform exterior and interior property inspections
- Verify property occupancy and report general property conditions
- Deliver letters or post notifications as required
- Conduct vacant interior walkthroughs or insurance repair progress reports
Requirements:
- Experience with industry-standard smartphone apps such as InspectorADE, EZ Inspections, or SafeView inspect
- Current or prior experience conducting occupancy inspections
- Able to manage time efficiently to complete inspections within a 3-5 day turnaround time
- Access to a computer with internet connection, iPhone or Android device, and office supplies
Compensation:
Estimated $15-$20 per hour based on the number of inspections performed
Paid out every Friday by direct deposit for work completed the prior week
This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position
