Position Summary :
Under minimal supervision, the Pipe Designer in this position will help on all project design assignments such as copying, making pick-ups, 3D modeling, and piping deliverables. This designer has advanced knowledge of drafting standards, drafting techniques, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design (with minimal assistance)
- 3D Modeling.
- Drawing generation, markup, and cleanup.
- Create / assemble check packages.
- Review and markup equipment vendor drawings.
- Dimensional and consistency checks on all piping deliverables.
- Fieldwork (laser scanning and / or hand sketches)
- Data input for lists (Line, Tie-in, Drawing Index, etc.)
- General office work such as making copies, attending meetings, etc.
- P&ID filed validations
Qualifications :
Education : High School diploma or equivalent
Experience : Minimum 5 years of industry-related experience with 5 years of design experience.
