Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and vigilant Armed Guard to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their assets. This role requires a strong background in law enforcement or military service, along with expertise in surveillance and conflict management. The Armed Guard will actively monitor premises, respond to incidents, and ensure compliance with security protocols.
Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter and detect unauthorized activities.
- Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to identify potential threats.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to safeguard property and assets.
- Enforce security policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed during emergencies.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to report incidents or suspicious activities.
- Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in law enforcement, military service, or security-related fields is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications in conflict management are a plus.
- Proficient in operating CCTV systems and other security equipment.
- Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, staff, and law enforcement personnel.
- Must possess a valid armed security license as required by state regulations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if necessary.
