Who You Are
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and versatile Shipping & Powder Coat Assistant to support our shipping, powder coating, and quality control operations. The schedule for this role is 7:00AM – 3:30PM
The ideal candidate will assist with packaging, organizing stock, powder coating, and meeting quality standards. This hands-on role requires someone proactive, organized, and willing to learn various tasks within our production process.
What You'll Do
Duties and Responsibilities:
Shipping and Packaging
- · Assist with shipping tasks, including constructing wooden/cardboard boxes for product shipment.
- · Pulling stock and preparing products for shipping
- o Verify the quantity and quality of goods against purchase orders.
- o Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and stock
- o Collaborate with team members to improve shipping processes and resolve discrepancies in orders.
- · Organize shipping areas and maintain cleanliness and order.
Powder Coating
- · Help with power coating operations, including:
- o Hooking and wiring grilles for coating
- o Hanging and removing parts from the powder coating line
- o Learning powder coating techniques and assisting in coating tasks
- · Maintain cleanliness and organization in the powder coating area
Quality Control (QC)
- · Assist in the quality control processes by wrapping and preparing grilles for shipment
- · Ensure products meet quality standards before final packaging
- · Support the organization and cleanliness of QC work area
What You Bring
Qualifications/Requirements:
- · Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- · Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- · Willingness to learn new skills, including powder coating techniques
- · Physical ability to lift and move materials as needed (up to 50 lbs.)
- · Basic understanding of shipping and quality control processes is a plus
