Finance Controller Specialist, your future role?
You will support our Finance Management by preparing and distributing financial information related to Capex projects of our manufacturing sites in the US. You will work with site engineers, local management, regional controllers and local finance from the stage of evaluating capital proposals up until value realization, to maximize projects efficiency.
You will report into the Finance Manager and work four days a week in our corporate office located in Cincinnati, OH, and one day a week from home.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Business support
- Support the Capex annual budget process for our US manufacturing sites.
- Perform a monthly review of the projects (budget vs actual) and inform the status to internal partners.
- Analyze deviations and investigate issues.
- Ensure the projects are correctly closed in the Accounting, doing the corresponding capitalization.
Financial Performance Analysis
- Analyze and coordinate activities associated with Capex projects of our sites.
- Prepare monthly data with the status of projects, Asset Under Construction (AUC) and Fixed Assets (FA).
- Support requirements associated with the month-end financial close.
- Review balance sheet and P&L accounts related to AUC and FA that may require journal entries, accruals/reserves and reclassifications.
Investment Process & Inventory Control
- Support planning and tracking of spending against the capital plan for each site.
- Coordinate periodic inventory of Fixed Assets for the sites.
- Ensure closure of investment projects and subsequent capitalisation of AUC.

Your professional profile includes:
- University degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
- At least 4 years of experience in controlling or CAPEX projects financial analysis in manufacturing companies.
- Experience controlling processes.
- Fluent English, both oral and written.
- Experience using SAP FI/CO.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience in Project Management.
