As a Production Supervisor on 2nd shift in Bedford Park, Illinois, you will oversee efficient production operations to deliver top-quality flavor and fragrance products. Main responsibilities include managing performance, controlling inventory, and implementing safety-focused manufacturing processes. With a focus on continuous improvement, you will improve Lean projects and capacity enhancements, engaging with team boards and meetings. Your Location : Bedford Park, Illinois
You will Report to : Production Manager
Salary Expectations : 80k-100kbased on techinical experience
Responsibilities :
- Production Management : Provide support to the Manufacturing Manager by overseeing and coordinating production operations within specific plant sections to ensure delivery of intermediate or finished flavor / fragrance products. Manage the production area's performance to meet schedules, control inventory for material availability, and monitor output for quality and efficiency. Prepare production reports for performance issue identification and resolution.
- Production Processes : Define manufacturing processes that align with safety, EHS standards, and productivity goals. Improve programs, manage capacity enhancements, and lead Lean program rollouts with active involvement in team boards and meetings.
- People Management : Oversee staff to ensure safe task performance and equipment operation. Oversee documentation of staff performance, provide ongoing feedback, conduct mid-year and end-year reviews, and make recommendations on hiring, firing, and salary increases. Train new employees on operational procedures and standards.
