About your role
You will be responsible for controlling the financial performance of our Fragrance business production sites in Mount Olive and Towaco, New Jersey. As Site Financial Controller, you will support the Operations strategy by providing sound financial and operations controlling together with interpretive and predictive analysis.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Financial Performance Reporting: Review annual budget (financial and non-financial) versus targets, perform monthly review of actual performance versus target/prior year, ensure data accuracy, and meaningfulness of Operational financial and Indicator data through regular reviews, and perform audits to ensure compliance with operational and financial procedures.
- Financial Planning: Review and validate operation Capex submission & hiring proposals, provide guidance to Operations team, identifying opportunities and developing corrective actions to meet financial and non-financial targets, develop the annual operating targets by site and review with headquarters, support development of Business Cases for new investments, and help develop the region Operations 5-year business plan and annual operating budgets according to our goals.
- Operations/Site Support: Advise Supply Chain Team in all financial matters and participate in regional SCM projects, work with local Operations and Site Controllers across the region to remain current on activities having impact on performance.
- Processes: Work with Regional Operations Controller and Global Operations Controller for improvement, streamlining, and automation of reporting processes, support Lean implementation in the region (Indicators setting, definitions & tools), and maintain regional Lean Indicators tool.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Economics or Accounting with Master's degree.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Site Production Controller or a similar Controlling experience.
- Experience with financial analysis and controlling techniques.
- Continuous improvement experience (Six Sigma, Lean).
- SAP FICO experience.
- Fluent in English.
