About the Role:
To provide support to the operation by cleaning/sanitizing tanks, vessels, containers, utensils, and grinding
You Will:
- Work in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and internal safety guidelines and following established procedures to clean (manually or with equipment) different sized tanks, containers, vessels and utensils and the production floor and equipment.
- Operate cleaning equipment including clean-in-place machines, floor scrubber/sweeper and drum washer.
- Maintain a clean work station.
- Perform all job activities involving hazardous waste following regulatory requirements.
- Various material movement equipment to transport pallets, drums and other materials and equipment.
- Collects, empty and disposes of garbage.
- Assists in the Dispensing department.
- Perform other responsibilities
You Have:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- 1 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment required.
- Forklift and Hi-Lo experience is preferred.
- For Dispensing, must have knowledge of metric weight systems/conversions with an ability to perform basic mathematical calculations is preferred.
