Job Overview:
Responsible for supporting the Give & Go HSE CAPEX and HSE Team initiatives in mitigating HSE related risk through associated projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Support HSE CAPEX Projects initiative
Assist with the coordination and completion of HSE risk assessments
Provide key metrics and project related tracking
Interface with external vendors/contractors and internal stakeholders
Maintains HSE project records to demonstrate regulatory and G&G Management System compliance
Coordinate project related site tours, meetings and other activities
Support meeting HSE targets and deadlines
Perform other duties related to HSE projects as assigned
Coordinate the implementation of OHS policies and programs to improve the current processes and safety standards of the company
Assist in the development of the G&G HSE Management System
Revising and creating policy, procedures, work instructions and communications that align with G&G HSE objectives and targets
Support delivery and tracking of HSE training program
Support oversight of workplace repair, installations and any other work that is triggered through HSE CAPEX projects
Enforce preventative safety measures across the organization
Validate training and monitor external vendor compliance with G&G safety prequalification, screening and health protocols
Provide administrative support to HSE databases, communications, and monthly reporting requirements for all G&G sites.
Work with HR to support employee and contractor on-boarding process for health and safety and other HSE training initiatives
Participate and support HSE related audits and inspections
Recipe for success:
Completion of a college diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field
Previous Health and Safety experience (via work experience, co-op program or internship) in a manufacturing environment.
