We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in various makes and models of vehicles. As a Master Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of service and satisfaction.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in vehicles, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and electrical systems.
- Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid flushes, and tune-ups.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and resolve complex automotive problems.
- Interpret error codes and use specialized diagnostic software to diagnose electronic systems.
- Provide accurate estimates for repairs and communicate effectively with customers regarding the status of their vehicles.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used, and services performed.
- Mentor and train junior technicians, sharing knowledge and expertise to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Stay up-to-date with advances in automotive technology and industry trends through continuing education and training programs.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all repair and maintenance services.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an automotive technician, with a proven track record of excellence in diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment, including computerized diagnostic software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an automotive technology program preferred.
