Requirements
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to transportation, freight brokerage, warehouse operations, and overall business performance
- Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Utilize business intelligence tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI) to extract, analyze, and present data
- Evaluate and enhance current business processes and workflows within asset-based transportation and non-asset freight brokerage segments
- Propose and implement improvements to reduce costs, enhance efficiency, and optimize performance
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define, document, and implement process changes
- Stakeholder Management:
- Act as a liaison between business units and IT/development teams to ensure project requirements are accurately understood and met
- Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather and clarify business needs and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders at all levels
- Project Support:
- Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring projects related to transportation and freight brokerage
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Market Research & Competitor Analysis:
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities and inform strategic decisions
- System & Tool Utilization:
- Support the implementation and optimization of transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and other relevant technologies
- Utilize business intelligence tools to extract, analyze, and present data effectively
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, particularly in transportation management systems and freight brokerage processes
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a keen attention to detail
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills, with the capability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
