12 hour overnight shifts in Brookfield CT- 84 y / o woman discharged from hospital after admission for UTI and respiratory infection. diagnosed also with CHF while in patient. History of mild to moderate dementia in recent months, severly exaccerbated by infections and Hospital stay. Discharged to home, and fell within 12 hrs, hitting her head and having a subdural hemorrhage (brain bleed) from recent start on Eliquis blood thinners for Afib. currently back in ICU being monitored but getting better per her family. originally 4hrs daily, now will be 24 hr care upon discharge to home. Awaiting date for SOC.
