Quality Control Associate

IMMEDIATE OPENING - COME JOIN OUR TEAM! A great opportunity to grow with a stable long-term company - DAY SHIFT. Washington Court House Moldings, Inc. (WCHM) is a privately held blow mold manufacturer that is actively looking for 1 Full Time Quality Control Technician for our 24/7 manufacturing facility in Washington Court House, OH. We currently have 1 day shift position available, they are 12-hour shifts with OT pay built into the schedule and every other 3-day weekend off (3 scheduled days one week, 4 scheduled days the next). WCHM is an extremely clean, climate controlled manufacturer of plastic bottles that are used for nationally recognized food and beauty products, sauces, condiments, shampoo, body wash, and more. Pay starts at $17.00/hr and may increase with consideration for previous QC experience. Onsite training provided and must have prior QC experience.

Responsibilities:

• Closely inspect raw materials, finished product, and production activity
• Complete various lab tests with use of calipers, gages, automated scanning and other means
• Ability to learn customized, in-house, computer software. On the job training will be provided
• Distinguish the difference between conforming and non-conforming product and, in the event of a non-conformance, place the product on hole with detailed explanation of possible non-conformance
• All other QC related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum High School diploma, or equivalent: some college a plus
• General math skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
• Previous Quality experience of 1 year a plus, but not required. We will train
• Excellent attendance and solid transportation is a must
• Ability to stand and walk most of the shift is required, as is the ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally throughout the shift
• Reliable transportation a must
• Impeccable attendance required

This is a temperature controlled facility, remaining the same temperature Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter.

MUST SUCCESSFULLY PASS A PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG SCREEN AND BACKGROUND CHECK.
