Job Responsibilities

Work Schedule

2nd Shift: 2:00pm - 10:30pm PST

Primary Functions

• Pressure Vessel Operator
• Loading, Unloading, Operating and Monitoring Autoclaves
• Troubleshooting and Repairing vacuum bag leaks/blow-outs
• Bagging parks to run in the autoclave
• Unbagging parts after the autoclave
• Performing OSI testing on parts prior to delivery
• Delivering completed parts
• Assisting other employees within the Thin Films facility
• Perform extensive cleanup of coating/ clean room facility and work area
• Follow AM / PM / TPM / calibration / shelf life schedules for tools, equipment and materials
  

Secondary Functions

• Perform other functions to support business requirements within other portions of Department 51 as required, including but not limited to:
• Bus Barring
• Cleanup, Prep, Prime, Layup
• Coating
• Mixing
  

Job Qualifications

• Must be able to record and maintain accurate production records
• Must be able to pass Pulmonary Function Test (PFT)
• Must be able to perform moderate lifting (up to 49 lbs.) and frequent gripping of product in process.
• Must have good eye sight with or without corrective lenses, be able to identify defects and scratches per applicable requirements.
• Must be able to work while wearing the necessary cleanroom garments:
• Suit
• Shoe Covers
• Head Cover
• Face Mask
• Gloves
• Must be able to effectively use measuring instruments.
• Must not be allergic to chemicals used in the department.
• Must be able to work while wearing a respirator.
• Must be able to get and maintain a forklift license
  

Preferred Qualifications

• ASI System
• Microsoft Office Software
• Basic Math
• Basic Chemical Handling
• (Will use quality instrumentation such as Mic, Caliper, etc…)
• MS Excel working – knowledge
• 49lbs 2 person lift
• Forklift Certified
  
  

Compensation Data

Pay Rate: $20.40/hr
