Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Electro/Mech Tech to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with robotics systems and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). You will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of automated equipment and systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is available on 3rd shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of robotic systems and PLC-controlled machinery.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize automation processes.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures during all activities.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and system performance.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in electrical/mechanical systems, including robotics and PLCs.
- Strong knowledge of robotic programming and PLC troubleshooting (Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.).
- Experience with industrial automation systems, including sensors, actuators, and HMI interfaces.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams.
- Proficiency in electrical and mechanical tools, and test equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
- Knowledge of safety standards and OSHA regulations.
Preferred Skills/Education:
- Experience with industrial robots (ABB, FANUC, KUKA, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Associate degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Pay: $27.00 - $34.00 per hour
