Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on battery systems and associated equipment.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters to measure electrical resistance and diagnose issues.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot effectively.
- Conduct field service operations, including installation, testing, and repair of battery systems at customer locations.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and improve operational efficiency.
- Provide technical support for low voltage systems related to battery operations.
- Stay updated on advancements in battery technology and best practices for maintenance.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or in a related field with mechanical knowledge.
- Familiarity with computer networking principles as they relate to battery management systems.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools, including ohmmeters and other electrical testing equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- A valid driver's license may be required for field service responsibilities.
