Position Summary :
Florida Homebuilder mortgage affiliate seeking sales oriented Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO) who will assist consumers purchasing a new home and seeking a mortgage loan. Ensures exceptional customer experience by overseeing loan process from origination to close and providing on-going communication to customers throughout process. This position supports the home sales team in our communities on the East and West Coasts of FL where we capture over 50% of the business. Main focus is West Coast however, you will have the ability to cover the East Coast. In addition to supporting Homebuilders Sales Team and Customers, this position allows self-generation of outside customers / mortgages. Key Duties and Responsibilities :
- Relation building with the sales offices of each community.
- Follow through on assigned customers / leads weekly.
- Generate leads in addition to those generated by the Homebuilders sales staff.
- Review / Analyze credit and financial data.
- Determine borrower financing objectives and goals.
- Present appropriate products and programs and explain guidelines.
- Apprise of pricing and lock rate as required.
- Identify appropriate opportunities to sell additional products.
- Collect supporting loan documentation as required and provide complete package to Mortgage Loan Coordinator.
- Meet crucial deadlines.
- Work with Mortgage Loan Processors and Sales Associates to ensure that loan docs are submitted timely and to ensure that loan conditions are met.
- Partner with Mortgage Loan Processors with on-going communication to customer regarding loan status.
- Attend Sales and Broker Events
