Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning/venthood cleaner

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented kitchen exhaust/ Venthood Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, ensuring that all areas meet our high standards of cleaning and safety. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks, with an emphasis on efficiency and thoroughness.

Duties

• Perform general cleaning duties including venthood cleaning and power washing
• Clean and degrease venthood, kitchen exhaust system and other common areas.
• Handle waste disposal and recycling in accordance with company policies.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages.
• Follow established safety protocols while using cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Assist with the assembly of equipment as needed, utilizing basic mechanical knowledge.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
• Provide support for appliance repair tasks when necessary, demonstrating familiarity with electrical schematics and mechanical systems.

Experience

• Previous experience in a kitchen exhaust cleaning/ venthood cleaning or pressure washing role is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with appliance repair or field service work is a plus.
• Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair will be beneficial for this position.
• Experience driving a box truck for delivery purposes is advantageous but not mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Choose your own hours
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overnight shift
