Overview
We are seeking a skilled Milling Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating milling machines and will be responsible for producing high-quality components with precision and accuracy. Duties
- Operate and maintain milling machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
- Utilize CAM programming software to develop machining programs for various projects.
- Perform setup and tooling changes, ensuring all equipment is calibrated and functioning correctly.
- Conduct quality control checks using precision measuring instruments to ensure adherence to GD&T standards.
- Collaborate with engineering teams using SolidWorks for design modifications and improvements.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols within the warehouse.
- Assist in packaging finished products for shipment, ensuring they meet quality standards.
Requirements
- Proficient in operating milling machines with experience in Fanuc controls preferred.
- Strong understanding of basic math principles as they apply to machining processes.
- Familiarity with tooling selection and setup procedures for milling operations.
- Experience with CAM programming is essential for this role.
- Knowledge of SolidWorks is a plus for design-related tasks.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments effectively.
- Understanding of GD&T principles is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
