What are the responsibilities and job description for the Irrigation Technician Assistant position at Glacier Landscape, Inc.?
Summary of Position: This position is responsible for the assisting with the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems on commercial and private properties according to the customer's highest standards in an efficient and timely manner. Employees must demonstrate a high degree of customer service and customer interaction. In addition, other duties will be assigned during other periods of time.
Hours of Work: This is a seasonal full-time position. Because this is a weather-dependent outdoor position, hours may be adjusted at any time. Normal work hours are 40 - 50 hours per week, Monday through Friday with some Saturday work. The normal work year is Spring through Fall, however, more hours may be available for snow removal in the winter.
Required Licenses: A valid Wisconsin driver's license is required.
Required Experience: Prior irrigation experience installing and maintaining irrigation systems is preferred, but training is available for qualified candidates. Employees must be mechanically inclined and have a good work ethic.
Position Description:
The following duties are included for this position: -
- Assisting in the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems.-
- Working with project managers of sales staff regarding upcoming projects.-
- Participate in Spring and Fall cleanups as required.-
- Other duties as assigned.
