What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Designer/Sales position at Glacier Landscape, Inc.?
SUMMARY OF POSITION: Looking for a Landscape Designer who has been in the industry designing for 3 years. The position will primarily develop Landscape plans, estimates, and proposals. Looking for an applicant with 3 years of Landscape Design experience.
HOURS OF WORK: Normal work hours are 30 – 50 hours per week, Monday through Friday
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and SketchUp.
POSITION DESCRIPTION: The following duties are included for this position:
· Creation of plans, estimates, and proposals.
· Working with customers to make sure your plans are meeting their needs
· Horticulturist/landscape experience required.
· Landscape and hardscape designs
Project management from design to project completion
· Preparing orders for soft and hardscape materials.
· Misc. clerical tasks.
· Answering customer phone calls and questions.
· Retail sales.
· Self-starter with the ability to interact with office personnel and customers in a positive and friendly manner
· Ability to work independently and follow up with customers as needed.
· Strong customer service skills are a necessity.
· Completing paperwork and material ordering and tracking.
· A valid Wisconsin driver’s license required.
Payrate is hourly and can become a salary. Based on experience.
