Summary of Landscape Laborer Position: The Landscape Laborer is responsible for the placing of sod, seed, edging, mulches, pavers, walls, and plantings on commercial and private properties according to the customer's highest standards in an efficient and timely manner. Employees must demonstrate a high degree of customer service and customer interaction. In addition, other duties such as tree work and mowing will be assigned during other periods of time.
Hours of Work: This is a seasonal full-time position. Because Landscape Laborer is a weather-dependent outdoor position, hours may be adjusted at any time. Normal work hours are 40 - 50 hours per week, Monday through Friday with some Saturday work. The normal work year is Spring through Fall, however, more hours may be available for snow removal in the winter.
Required Licenses: A valid Wisconsin driver's license is desirable and a CDL would be preferred.
Required Experience: Prior landscaping experience installing hardscapes and plantings is preferred, but training is available for qualified candidates. Employees must be mechanically inclined and have a good work ethic.
Position Description: The following duties are included for this position:-Installing sod, seed, edging, mulches, pavers, walls, plantings, and other hardscape/landscape items.-Must be able to work independently and/or with other landscapers/landscape crews.-Participate in Spring and Fall cleanups as required.-Other duties such as mowing as assigned.
