Title: Housekeeper Full Time
Department: Housekeeping
Supervisor: Housekeeping Supervisor
Position Type: Non-Exempt
Pay: $17.00-18.00 starting per hour
OVERVIEW:
The Housekeeping position is responsible for all assigned cleaning requirements for Glacier properties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
1. Ensure that all company standards for cleanliness are met consistently
2. Sweep, scrub, mop floors, vacuum carpets, rugs 3. Empty and clean trash containers, clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers; wipe down glass surfaces
4. Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition; monitor and report necessary repairs and replacements when needed
5. Dust and polish furniture and clean metal fixtures
6. Make up beds and change linens when needed in Hospitality unit
7. Wash windows as scheduled
8. Check and maintain pool area for cleanliness
9. May be required to work special events
10. Restock supplies daily 11. Fill out daily checklists 12. Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery when scheduled
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High school diploma or equivalent required
2. Minimum one year job related experience
3. Valid driver’s license . 4. 4 4. Ensure that all company standards for cleanliness are met consistently 5. The desire to continually learn and have professional attitude
6. Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision but also be able to work with other team members
7. Possess good verbal and written skills 8. Ability to work in an environment that has constantly changing priorities
9. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality with all matters. 10. Have a positive attitude, be punctual, and work with attention to detail
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be able to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, lift 50 pounds
