Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for licensed therapists with an LPC, LCSW or LMFT to work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing individual, group, and family therapy to students in need.
You will be responsible for conducting intakes, developing treatment plans, and providing regular progress updates to designated supervisors and school district personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough intake assessments for assigned clients, including psycho-social evaluations, initial treatment plans, and required legal consents.
- Collaborate with clients to develop measurable treatment goals, aligned with outpatient regulations.
- Regularly review client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide high-quality individual, group, and family therapy sessions, tailored to meet each client's unique needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, referencing treatment plans and progress notes.
- Consult with designated psychiatrists and school-based supervisors to ensure effective collaboration and quality of service.
- Participate in scheduled supervision activities, focusing on professional development and quality improvement.
- Communicate effectively with school district personnel, as needed.
Requirements:
- A Master's degree in a counseling-related field, including a clinical practicum, is essential. A professional license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) is required, with credentialing preferred. LSW licensure does not qualify.
- Ability to engage in audio/visual/verbal interactions with clients, ensuring effective communication and supervision.
- Emotional stability is crucial for performing job duties and maintaining a healthy work environment.
- Strong working relationships with agency personnel and community agencies are vital for successful collaborations.
- Capacity to accept constructive feedback and supervision.
- Flexibility to adjust work hours according to job requirements.
- Ability to work independently, while also contributing to a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for documentation, reporting, and client interactions.
- Confidentiality of client information must be maintained at all times.
- PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse History clearance, and FBI clearance are mandatory eligibility requirements.
