The Administrative Assistant provides high-level administrative and operational support to the
Apheresis and Medical Services Director. This role involves managing documentation, scheduling
meetings, and assisting with operational tasks related to stem cell and mononuclear cell
collections for both transplantation and biologics research. The ideal candidate is highly organized,
detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced medical and research
environment.
Education
- Required: Associate’s degree
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a
related field
Experience
- Required: 1–3 years in an administrative role
- Preferred: Experience in healthcare, transplant, or research setting with familiarity in
medical documentation, scheduling, or regulatory compliance
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience with MS 365, Teams, and scheduling software
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) or donor management systems is a plus
Soft Skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
