Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscape Supervisor to lead our landscaping team in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for landscape design and maintenance. This role requires hands-on involvement in various landscaping projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship while supervising team members to achieve project goals efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Operate and transport heavy machineary with 14ft trailer (skid steers, backhoe).
- Be able to analyze drain issues and analyze ground grade.
- Supervise and coordinate daily landscaping activities, including planting, irrigation, and lawn care.
- Oversee landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and fertilizing to ensure healthy growth.
- Build and install landscape features such as patios, walkways, and garden beds according to design specifications.
- Implement effective tree care practices, including pruning and disease management.
- Train and mentor team members in proper landscaping techniques and safety protocols.
- Manage project timelines and ensure that work is completed on schedule.
- Conduct regular inspections of work sites to maintain quality standards and address any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and provide expert recommendations.
Skills
