Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mason to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry work, including the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and experience with various materials and techniques. This role involves constructing, repairing, and restoring structures made of brick, stone, concrete, and other materials. The Mason will work both independently and as part of a team to complete projects on time and to specifications.
Duties
- Supervise and oversea projects
- Operate and transport machines using USDOT load safety guidelines.
- Operate skid steers, mini skid stand on, dingo,
- Be familiar with simple landscape and water drainge issues.
- Construct walls, floors, and other structures using bricks, stones, or concrete blocks.
- Perform restoration work on existing structures to maintain their integrity and appearance.
- Apply plaster to surfaces for finishing purposes.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various masonry tasks.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate project execution.
- Engage in trim carpentry and frame carpentry as needed for structural support.
- Finish concrete surfaces to achieve desired aesthetics and durability.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site, including those involved in metal stud framing and hardscape projects.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Mason or similar role in construction.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics is essential.
- Familiarity with trim carpentry, frame carpentry, concrete finishing, plastering, metal stud framing, and hardscape techniques is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Pay: $940.00 - $1,100.00 per week
