Job Summary:
The Licensed Therapist is a valued team member with a passion to work with individuals, children, and families in providing trauma informed therapeutic services and promoting meaningful change in their clients’ lives. This is a Full-Time position and based in Fort Worth Texas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides in-person, telehealth, and/or in-home counseling services to individuals, couples, families and children.
- Maintains a trauma-informed lens when working with clients.
- Works well in teams and collaborates with others.
- Attends and participates in treatment planning meetings and clinical meetings.
- Assists in evaluation and development of the Gladney Counseling program.
- Documents session notes and completion for billing in a timely manner.
- Completes initial and on-going training
- Provides in-home skills training to clients, as needed
- Supports other clinical programs within Gladney, as needed
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must be licensed as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW in the State of Texas.
- Knowledge of social service agencies, state regulations, and APA standards as it is related to client treatment, patient rights, and client/patient confidentiality.
- Clinical methodologies and diagnostic knowledge, including experience in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma informed models of therapy, medication knowledge and psychiatric diagnosis/DSM V knowledge.
- Experience in the treatment of trauma and attachment.
- Knowledge of Evidence-Based Practice and psychotherapy methods.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively.
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High standards of confidentiality, trustworthiness, discretion, and professionalism.
- Willingness to perform within a flexible schedule.
- Strong ability to build strong, influential relationships.
- Excellent time management, organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with Adoption and TBRI (Trust-Based Relational Intervention), preferred.
- Skills in trauma-informed care and meeting the needs of vulnerable individuals, preferred
