Cleanliness Lab Sales and Service Technician

Glaeser Inc. is purely focused on Technical Cleanliness Control of Industrial Products. The Company runs highly specialized service laboratories to analyze the cleanliness of function critical components and parts (e.g. from the automotive industry). In addition, Glaeser manufactures and distributes cleanliness cabinets and laboratory equipment for this purpose to clients with their own laboratories.

For our location in Summit County (Twinsburg):

Job Title: Cleanliness Lab Sales and Service Technician

Responsibilities:

· Maintenance and service as well as systems and analysis support

· Testing and repairing equipment on-site / by travelling to the location of the customer

· Providing troubleshooting as well as performing installation of equipment

· Analysis of technical cleanliness of components and parts

· Ensure compliance with Norms, client’s specifications, and laws

· Thorough completion and independent handling of given work order

· Document and communicate issues regarding quality, instruments, or supply

· Complies with laboratory hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal plan

· Verification with and advice to clients via phone

· Maintain knowledge of analytic processes

· Provide quotations of lab analysis, equipment, parts, service, training, and consultation.

· Handling in- and outgoing logistics

· Maintenance of lab equipment and lab cleanliness

· NON-Disclosure of Company internal and Client specific information

· Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Required Skills:

· Positive mindset and highly motivated

· Basic Microsoft Office (MS Access, MS Excel, MS Word) skills

· High School diploma or GED (Associate’s or four-year college degree a plus/not required.)

· Able to work in IT cloud environment

· Independent, structured, and flexible way of working

· Ability to work as part of a team, develop into a team leader

· Ability to maintain good relations with customers

· Ability to travel long distance

· Excellent English written and verbal, communication skills (knowledge of German language a plus)

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

· Maintain a clean and organized work area

· Attention to detail

· Must be able to plan and prioritize work with strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Must obtain thorough knowledge of lab and products

Preferred Skills/Abilities:

· Previous experience in the automotive industry

· Able to work in cleanroom-environment

· Technical skills and experience (electrical, hydraulic, mechanic, PC-Control)

· Sales skills or previous sales experience beneficial

· Experience working within a registered quality management system

· Ability to use a forklift
