Position Title: Financial Planning Analyst
Reporting to: FP&A Manager
Location: Downers Grove, IL
Job Purpose:
The FP&A Analyst will be a key player in the GPN Global FP&A team, particularly across the financial planning, management reporting across the balance sheet, cashflow and working capital management for GPN Globally. They will assist the FP&A Manager & Director of FP&A and engage with regional finance teams to provide insightful financial analysis and support decision making. The role will also support driving initiatives to improve digital transformation initiatives that are on-going within the GPN business.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the FP&A Manager, this person will work in a dynamic, high performing team striving to deliver best in class FP&A reporting around the balance sheet and cashflow process for GPN Global.
- Perform the Global planning cycles (budgets, forecasts, outlooks) in SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud) and work with the regions to consolidate financial plans for the balance sheet and cashflow process for GPN Global.
- Assist in the month-end reporting process by working closely with relevant controlling teams and regional finance to ensure results are complete and accurate around the balance sheet and cashflow process for GPN Global.
- Perform the GPN Global weekly cashflow planning process and work with the regions to consolidate and explain the overall financial performance around the cashflow process for GPN Global.
- Drive initiatives to improve our balance sheet and cashflow analytics and storytelling, ensuring clear communication of financial data to support informed decisions through; collaborating with regional finance and data analytic teams and presenting actionable insights.
- Continue to embed the use of SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud) in our day-to-day reporting, developing new capabilities and dashboards to facilitates data-driven decision-making.
- Be a true subject matter expert on Global balance sheet and cashflow reporting and the systems used including SAP, SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud), and Business Objects.
- Assist the Global FP&A team on wider reporting and analysis requests across month-end and planning cycles.
- Assist in any ad-hoc projects required to support business growth and consistently strive for process improvements and support delivery of strategic initiatives.
Skills, Know How and experience
- Qualified accountant
- Minimum 2 years’ PQE experience in a similar role and multinational environment (CPG experience a plus)
- Experience with SAP and Business Objects experience a plus. Experience in Excel a must.
- Strong influencing and communication skills. Actively engage and collaborate with teams.
- Self-starter, who has the ability to work within a team and across geographical boundaries.
- Enthusiastic to gain experience in a fast moving and dynamic business, ideally having worked previously in a financial reporting or accounting and control position.
- Experience in managing rapidly changing workload and tight deadlines, in the context of high stakeholder expectations and tight time frames.
- Constantly looking to find a better way to derive and present data to drive efficiency and effectiveness of information.
- Very strong attention to detail, analytical, good judgement making and logical decision maker.

Glanbia provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in IL. This range may not be applicable to other locations. Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role. The typical candidate is hired below midpoint of the range. The annual salary for IL based employees for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 with an annual bonus.
