We are hiring a Sr HRG due to an internal move! As the Sr Human Resource Generalist, you will provide support to Gooding site management (e.g. Gooding Cheese, Gooding Whey, Warehouse, Wastewater Treatment & Transportation) in the form of employment processing/orientations, employee relations efforts, supervisory support for disciplinary actions & terminations, compliance (AAP/EEO) and general assistance around employee functions at the site.

Responsibilities Include
HR Compliance & Regulations
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, HR policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.
- Adhere to occupational safety and health regulations as well as food safety mandates (FSMA, SQF, FDA, and PMO).
- Regularly review and update policies to align with legal and regulatory changes.
- Manage and maintain HRIS programs, ensuring data integrity for employee records, compensation, benefits, tax information, attendance, performance evaluations, and terminations.
- Compile HRIS data, generate reports, and provide employee file information to authorized personnel.
- Monitor and update changes related to reporting structure, compensation, schedules, and position adjustments to align with people strategy.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Provide coaching and support to first-level leaders and plant employees.
- Assist in handling employee relations matters, including complaints and investigations, in collaboration with the HR Business Partner (HRBP), providing recommendations for resolution.
- Participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Support the site’s Stay/Engagement interviews to track and analyze retention strategies.
- Provide assistance with employee benefits programs, including enrollment and inquiries, in partnership with the CoE.
- Manage employees on disability or leave of absence while coordinating the interactive process with the benefits team.
- Execute and support HR programs, including compensation, benefits, leave management, employee relations, performance management, talent development, and workplace safety.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives (GPS) to enhance employee engagement.
- Stay updated on HR trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in human resources and employment law.
- Prepare and process employee separations, including exit interviews and related documentation.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze trends to mitigate turnover.
- Associate's degree with a minimum of 4 years of related experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred with 4 years of HR experience
- SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, Word, PP).
- Ability to quickly learn and navigate HRIS and talent management system (SuccessFactors)
