The Opportunity
This position will be a key part of the Commercial Finance team for the Global Dairy business. Main responsibilities will focus on sales reporting, variance analysis and budget / forecasting preparation. This position will provide support for multiple functions and stakeholders across the company. This permanent position will report to the Finance Manager.
- Compare actual results against business plan, forecast, and prior year.
- Analyze profitability to determine impact caused by volume, selling prices, material costs and / or production costs.
- Provide accurate and timely financial reporting on customers and products.
- Responsible for preparing weekly sales reports.
- Prepare annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Assist in preparation of monthly accounts packs.
- Coordinate with various departments and functions on data analysis and decision support.
- Work with colleagues across other regions of the globe.
- Responsible for process improvement and standardization in assigned area.
- Assist with product pricing and product costing analysis.
- Manage and report on customer rebate spend.
- Quantify business risks and opportunities on ongoing basis.
- Gain understanding of Dairy market fundamentals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Participates in special projects or action teams.

Compensation
Compensation for roles at Glanbia varies depending on a wide range of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. Glanbia provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in IL. This range may not be applicable to other locations. Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role. The annual salary for IL based employees for this role is $90,000-$100,000 with an annual bonus.
