Job Summary
This role involves operating and maintaining wastewater treatment facilities and systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
Responsibilities
- Operating and maintaining equipment, including sludge pumps, blowers, meters, filters, heat exchangers, gas collection systems, liner systems, boilers, chemical metering pumps, valves, and others.
- Performing preventative maintenance inspections, service, and repairs, as well as various sample collection tasks, analytical laboratory work, chemical usage tracking, and recordkeeping.
Requirements
- High school graduation; college level course work in biology, chemistry, hydraulics, mechanics, etc is desired.
- A minimum of 1-2 years experience with water/wastewater related equipment, i.e. pumps, valves, blowers, mechanics, control systems, etc.
- A strong desire to learn the wastewater treatment field is required.
- Ability to operate (or learn to operate) necessary equipment.
