Job Summary
Provides service to walk-in customers and customers by phone. Takes and processes orders, answers questions, solves problems, quotes prices and delivery specifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Verify the availability of product and delivery method or additional services including placing orders with vendors.
- Completes the order processing by entering orders into the system.
- Will review reports, create and keep records, and problem solve reporting variances/exceptions to determine cause and correction solutions.
- Assists outside salespeople in generating customer quotes.
- Back-up Delivery Driver and shipping/receiving when the branch is short-handed.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years of related customer service experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must possess a good driving record.
