Calibration Technician

SUMMARY
Glass America is seeking an experienced Calibration Technician to calibrate ADAS modules to OE standards for automotive glass using Glass America calibration equipment.

Responsibilities
Completes static and dynamic calibrations of forward facing cameras either in-shop or mobile basis depending on the type of calibration needed per OE standards.
Must follow Glass America and OE policies in respect to setting up calibration equipment properly.
Utilizes the proper calibration equipment and techniques to ensure an OE standard, efficient, timely and quality calibration service to Glass America customers.
Ensures proper documentation is completed and attached to the appropriate work order and/or person attaching to the work order.
Maintains a safe and acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy.
Immediately reports any issues with the calibration to the location Manager and/or the Training Department.
Provide excellent customer service to WOW every customer's expectations.
Ensure all calibration equipment is up to date and operating properly.
Immediately report any accident/incident to the location Manager.
Comply with all company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook and OE standards for vehicle manufacturers.
Maintain a good working relationship with supervisors and co-workers
Able to read and understand pre and post scans to avoid costly repairs.
Willing to complete other tasks given from area management.
In some areas, calibration technician’s will be required to conduct windshield repairs in accordance with Glass America’s policies and standards.
EDUCATION / QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 3 years of auto glass calibration experience - static and dynamic.
Education- High School Diploma or equivalent
REQUIREMENTS
Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to stand and/or squat for extended periods.
Must be able to use hands efficiently in handling Calibration equipment.
Must be able to lift up to but not limited to 50 pounds.
Mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate hand tools.
