SUMMARY
The Shop Manager provides effective leadership, direction, and motivation for all technicians and staff. Ensures that all customer vehicle glass repair and replacement is performed according to Glass America standards. In addition, this position is also responsible for sourcing, ordering, receiving, and delivering parts to technicians in an accurate and timely manner. Inventory must be maintained and returns properly processed on a timely basis.
MANAGEMENT
Recruit/Hire staff and Technicians.
Educate, train, and maintain compliance with company standards.
Take the necessary actions to meet daily/weekly/monthly sales goals and objectives.
Effectively communicate with all subordinates.
Provide daily supervision and direction to all Auto Glass Technicians and Office Staff.
Initiate or suggest plans to motivate company employees to achieve work goals.
Monitor the individual performance of the Technicians and Office Staff, regularly.
Fax, telephone, or otherwise contact vendors to order parts and document conversations in the management system.
Contact vendors for credits and process appropriately.
Follow up on parts, and back orders, and document actions in the management system.
Coordinate returns and credits of parts and ensure they are picked up daily or taken back.
Return and reorder damaged or defective parts.
Provide the A/P Dept. with the POP invoices for the appropriate purchases.
Serve as a role model to all employees by maintaining a " Wow Every Customer, Be the Best '' mindset.
ADDITIONAL
Take responsibility in your area of employment with Glass America for reporting, making recommendations and correcting adverse actions in the Company's best interest.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Time Management, Organizational Skills, Customer/Client Focus and Initiative.
Self-starter, driven by incentives, with a proven track record of success.
Excellent communication skills and a creative thinker.
High School Graduate.
At least 5 Years of experience in the Auto Glass Industry.
Previous management and or operations experience is strongly preferred but not required.
Compensation Details
Salary range: $70,000 - $80,000 per year
Compensation is commensurate with skill, education and experience.
This position is also eligible for performance based bonus opportunities.
